The countdown...

So...3 weeks until the due date! THREE WEEKS! I can't believe it! My sweet brother was wanting info about the baby name...so for the cost of a pedicure, we told him the number of letters of the 1st name and the first vowel of the second name. I had my pedicure today and I think the sweet lady gave me some extra massaging because I am soooo pregnant! I'm thinking I need to get started on packing a bag so I'm ready whenever...and get everything ready at school...I'm getting excited...we'll meet her soon! I'm not expecting her early...Hudson was induced a week late...Walker was a few days early...3, I think. So, she'll probably be somewhere pretty close to three weeks!

What I love about my husband

I love how he is so silly sometimes that we laugh till our cheeks hurt!

I love that when we're laughing at something funny, he has to tickle me so that I laugh harder.

I love watching him play with Hudson and Walker...he is such a sweet Daddy!

I love how he helps me around the house!

I love that he learned to cook meatloaf for the boys when I was so sick at the beginning of this pregnancy.

I love that he's so good at sports!

I love how he overreacts to things!

I love that he puts Hudson to bed and holds his hand.

I love that he gives the boys their baths!

I love how he is so committed to the things he does!

I love that he would just wear blue jeans and just a t-shirt everyday if he could!

I love how he sings and dances with us all!

I love you, Tony!

What I love about Walker

I love how he says "Husson"

I love how he goes full throttle all day long.

I love that he is such an easy guy to put to sleep...blanket, bed, light and he's out tapping his foot!

I love that he wants to do everything that Hudson does and also have anything that Hudson has!

I love to watch him dance...it's so cute how he kinda bends his knees and is so excited about it!

I love to hear him sing the theme song from "Veggie Tales."

I love how he likes to take all his clothes off for no reason except that he likes to be in just his diaper.

I love how he loves his blanket...how he hooks his little fingers through the holes and drapes it around him and walks around like a king with a robe.

I love how he's so silly and always has us laughing!

I love how he will sometimes snuggle with me and hold my hand, b/c it rarely happens...he is such a monkey...always on the go!

What I love about Hudson

I love that Hudson is such a sweet big brother.

I love to hear him say the blessing or just a prayer...the absolute sweetest things in the world!

I love to watch him playing nice with his brother.

I love how he use to call Walker "Dalker".

I love that he has to get your ear when he's close to you and he's tired...sometimes even if he's not tired!

I love that he's my snuggler!

I love love when he smiles!

I love his eyes and eyelashes...they're so long and perfectly beautiful!
I love his hair...his brown curly hair!
I love that he remembers everything that we say...like everything!

Things I love

I saw this idea on another blog and I really like the idea. I'm going to do different posts of things I love this week. Today is going to be random things that I love!
I love Caffeine Free Diet Coke. I especially like to drink it with ice. And, I've found, after drinking out of cans my entire life, that I like the plastic bottles best! But it's really great when it's from a fountain, but it can also be really gross from the fountain!
I love the color pink, and I am very happy to be able to share in the pink love with a baby girl I will soon meet.
I love our car...Cheverolet Suburban. It is so big and I actually lose things in it, but I love that it's big enough to change a diaper or clothes in the back...hold a little travel potty that can be used in the car and lots of other things!
I love to try to do new things. I think I like the challenge of figuring out a way to do it...even if I don't know exactly how it should be done.
I love taking really hot baths/showers in the dark. I think it's b/c when I used to get up early in the morning and I wasn't quite ready to be awake, I would leave the lights in the bathroom off and I do that to this day. That is, until one of my boys bursts in the bathroom and leaves the door open, letting all the outside light escape into my dark bathroom! And, I don't know why I like the water so hot, I just do...I have to be careful when I run the boys' bath water that it's not too hot for them!
As anyone in my family can attest...I love shoes. But I never spend a lot of money on them and I save them forever! I love that shoe size doesn't change, too...like no matter how big and pregnant I am, my feet are the same size!
Is there anything that you randomly love?

Blasted

Tony told me this morning that last night Hudson wanted him to turn his light off when they were going to bed, but Tony kept saying "no" b/c he knew that Hudson would soon say turn it back on. Then Hudson said to Tony..."Daddy, turn the blasted light off". He then proceeded to say I want my blasted cup, blasted blanket, etc. Tony said he couldn't help but laugh...I wonder who says blasted? I guess it could be worse, but it sure reminds me that he hears and SOAKS in everything!

Little Blog Slump

I'm kinda in a little slump...I just can't think of good things to blog about. I've been so tired that trying to put words together for a blog has seemed impossible. Lots has been happening, but I just haven't been able to sit and write. A few weeks ago, I was really unsure if I was going to be able to remain part time next year b/c the school where I work is being relieved by a new school and I was pretty sure I was going to be displaced there for next year. Displaced pretty much means you are forced there. The gal who I teach with and I went and met the principal of the new school to talk about job sharing at that school and she let us know the day before that she would not be allowing job sharing of a classroom position. So, basically, I started preparing myself for maybe working at Starbucks or Gap. But, I also felt like it was all going to work out just how it was supposed to. I had everyone praying that I would be able to stay part time. I then found out that I was displaced to the new school. So, I just put one choice on my preference form...part time EIP(that's what I taught at Grayson ES last year). I was displaced for a week, and then found out that I would be staying at my school, job sharing, just in a different grade...seriously...PRAISE THE LORD! Of course, we were all thrilled! We also decided to put our house up for sale and see what God does with that. We are putting a contingency contract on a house that has bigger rooms and more space for our growing family. We almost have the baby girl's room and I'll post some pictures of that after it's done. My sweet friends from church had a baby shower for me about 2 weeks ago, and I got some of the cutest little girl things! Our dear friend, "Miss" Donna also got Hudson and Walker a gift, with which, they were thrilled. The cards she wrote them were so sweet that I've put them in their baby books! I read them out loud to them, and of course, my Hudson has taken to heart everything "Miss" Dona told him. Every time he says the blessing in the evening, he says something about teaching Walker how to be a big brother and how to hold the baby and be gentle...it's seriously the cutest thing!
