Our sweet friend, Donna, made this blanket for Walker before he was born. Needless to say, this is HIS blanket. He used to just sleep with it, and I like it b/c it was a good size for a little guy. Well, now, he wants it all the time! Especially if he's tired or doesn't feel good. If he falls and gets hurt, he wants "paci", "blan-ket" and a shoulder to cuddle on. He goes to his crib all day and gets the thing out and he's figured out how to wrap it around himself as he's pulling it out! It's really too funny. He wants it in the car, at church, at restaurants. Two weeks ago, he was crying for it at the doctors office b/c he didn't feel good and he just wanted "blan-ket". When we lay him down in his crib to go to sleep, he dives face first, lays on his tummy, but holds his arms up waiting for the blanket. When he gets it, he wraps it around him, tucks his fingers in the holes, and looks so content and ready for sleep...precious! Here are a few pictures of Walker with his blanket, and I need to take more...he has it all the time. (I usually just make him move it for pictures!)
